Waterfront Watch Incorporated
We campaign against excessive development on the Wellington waterfront. We want the waterfront to be a place of public open space - at least 75 per cent open space because we believe the waterfront is as unique and valuable as the town belt. We want all views and viewshafts to be preserved, and if there's any new development it should be low rise, no higher than 15m above sea level. All land should stay in public ownership. There should be continuing public consultation on all future waterfront plans. [ Wellington ]
